WHEN PIGS FLY!!!

It is official. Justin has the swine flu. It started with a high fever on Tuesday. Later that day our neighbor said her little boy, who g0es to daycare with Justin, had it. So I took him to the ER (if you are in a hurry, just mention "swine flu" at the ER, you get to go right in!!) He tested positive for type A flu and Strep. They had to send the swine flu test out to be read. So we went home and waited. He was doing so much better, so fast, I thought they had made a mistake. But they called today and let us know it is positive. We basically stay inside and wait it out. There is some medicine, but we felt the risk from the medicine was not worth getting better one day faster. He is doing better and by Monday should be able to go to school again:)

Bear lake fun!

What do you get when you cram all 30 Cardon's into one cabin?? A lot of fun and of course a zip line. The men spend hours and many designs, but it finally met the standard! They all had so much fun! The boys played outside in the woods almost the whole time. It was so nice to have the entire family there at once. What memories!

Rodeo

The Thorpe side of the Family went to the Rodeo together to see Ryan ride the Mutton. It was such a fun treat for us all. Wyatt Loved the Clown. Justin liked the Steer Wrestling.

The Grotto

Wyatt, Kassidy, Justin, Ryan, Paul, and Weldon and I hiked up the Grotto in Payson. It was a nice hike. The water was so cold and clear. The boys loved finding a harder path to climb up.

Fish Rodeo

Wyatt and Justin did the Fish Rodeo at the Spanish Fork Park. They had a great time trying to catch fish with their hands. Wyatt was so mad when he had to give it back.

Justin

I started working (kinda) at the Child Developement Center on base so Justin started his PreK program. He really likes it so far. Three little boys on our street go to the same center. Wyatt goes after school for an hour.

Easter!

We had a nice Easter this year. It rained all day so we had the egg hunts inside. The boys were so excited to find that the Easter Bunny had come!

Eight Years!

Today Weldon and I have been married for EIGHT years! What memories

Yuck!

Look what Wyatt found in our gutter in front of our house this morning! It is a crawdad, I think, YUCK!! People here in the south EAT these! YUCK! so after we dropped Wyatt at the bus stop Justin and I had to catch it. It had it's little pincher's out. Not sure where it came from. We don't live by any lakes or rivers. Just a little ditch the neighbor made for drainage. Yesterday we found a baby snake right in front of the garage door. Weldon walked right over it. It was hissing and had it's mouth open. Weldon didn't let it live long enough to take a picture though. He thinks it was a copperhead, I think it was a garden snake. Hopefully, either way we do not meet it's mother!*******update**** The crawdad, or crawfish, is now wyatt's PET!!! He saw that we had caught it and was carting the bucket around everywhere. Then he dumped the stupid thing into my fountian! He wanted to buy a tank and keep it in the house! I think he needs a dog!lol

White trees

For all of you out West, don't get blue, we have white trees too!
We had a 80 degree weekend!! All the trees beside our house are in bloom.

Catch up!! (AGAIN)

Okay, I have a good excuse for a month, no internet, the rest is just being a slacker. I am attempting to catch up since like, christmas. Wyatt and Justin's birthdays are the last ones. Most are of our new house. I don't know how to group pictures into one to take up less room so sorry!

We are at the same Air Force Base, we just moved out of base housing to a little town about 20 mins. away. The town is an old redneck town where someone sold dads land to a developer. Good luck even finding us with your GPS!! We love it. I am no longer doing Daycare, and am looking for a job:( Wyatt is doing well at his new school and Justin is so bored home with mom waiting for Wyatt to get home. Weldon is so much happier now that he has a garage to play in. The cat has made some new "friends" so we will probily be having some kittens soon (j/k i hope). So far so good for us!!!

Our new house

This is the Master bed room and bath. The bedroom has trey ceilings like the living room and the bath has a deep jetted tub:) Again it has so much storage. The American bath is the main bath.

House

I love, love, love my kitchen. It is so open and it has enough cabinet space to hold all of my dish, appliances and cleaning product in neatly and have space to spare! It is everything my old kitchen was not. My laundry room has nice storage too. The boys are still sharing a room. They love it.
